Introduction

The Work is an innovative digital platform that originated from the Cannes Lions Awards winner's site. I observed the high traffic volume on the winners' page of the official website and suggested to the directors that we explore this opportunity further. With their support, I assembled a talented team of internal and external specialists. The team played a crucial role in turning the digital product concept into a tangible reality while also establishing a strong brand presence in the industry.

The Process and Solution

The first step involved conducting thorough user research to better understand the target audience. This involved interviewing awards managers and creative professionals across various agencies and analysing their usage patterns and behaviours on the winners' sites to gather valuable insights for case studies. I organized workshops to identify current challenges and brainstorm potential solutions.


During the initial phases of product development, I worked hand-in-hand with the design, product, and engineering teams on the UX and UI design. As the design lead, I ensured that the branding and visual identity were craftfully executed in all launch materials. I collaborated extensively with the marketing, content, and press teams to create a cohesive online launch campaign that would resonate with our audience. This included establishing a brand presence at key venues and events.


To enhance our launch's impact, we partnered with a video motion studio to produce engaging video content while our internal design team developed all other collateral.

The Work

The Outcome

The launch of The Work was a resounding success, quickly attracting a dedicated user base. The platform effectively streamlined the process for agency users to create case studies while offering creative professionals a space to find inspiration, discover talent, and expand their knowledge. The evolved version of The Work, now called Love The Work, has become a significant contributor to the brand's digital offerings, establishing itself as one of the key products in the business.
